Welcome! My name is Katie and I live in wonderful Boston, MA. I’m an RRCA Certified running and triathlon coach, mom to my two awesome kids, Air Force military wife, and speech language pathologist. I’ve completed 3 Ironman triathlons, including qualifying for and finishing the Kona Ironman World Championships. I’ve also completed 12 marathons, qualifying for NYC and completing Boston twice, once at 24 weeks pregnant. I’ve also done countless triathlons and completed two Ultra Marathons. My husband is a former professional triathlete, USAF triathlon team member, and coach to the US Air Force Triathlon team. We met on our triathlon team in college and have been racing ever since!
After successfully training for and running two marathons during my 2nd pregnancy, I’m especially inspired to work with moms. As a mom myself who was shocked at how challenging it was to continue to run at the competitive level after having kids, I still refuse to buy into the narrative that motherhood or being a working woman means kicking to the curb your aspirations and fitness goals. I also feel it takes a mom to know what it’s like to try to balance the family, career, and personal dreams. While my training plans and racing looks a little different now, I recognize this is just a season of life and I still don’t want to give up the things that make me feel most like myself, and I find many other women feel the same. Currently my entire roster is women and I have no plans to change that.
